Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) - Hyderabad will start a weekend certificate course on business analytic from April 9, 2016

iitWith the increasing demand for business analytic and data scientists, many corporate companies these days are trying to get hold of capable business analytic and senior data analysis in order to achieve the targets in the growing business market in India.

To achieve this, the computer science and engineering department of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) - Hyderabad will start a weekend certificate course on business analytic from April 9, 2016.

The university will use an open source R, statistical software that provides a software environment and programming language for graphic reporting and statistical computing. Even the polls and data mines survey shows that in recent years, the popularity of R'S has considerably increased.

The total course length is six days where candidates will be taught on necessary skills to face all the challenges of data intensive decision-making environments. The candidates will also develop in-depth knowledge of concepts like time series forecasting, classification, sentiment analysis, clustering, usage of the R statistical software and regression.

Any undergraduate student with knowledge of mathematics and statistics or working professionals who want to enhance their skills can apply for this course. Moreover, students with some working experience will be given advantage in the admission process.

The course fee set by the IIT  is only Rs. 30,000. All the enrollment process will be done in a fair manner on first come, first served basis.
The batches for the six-day weekend course will begin from April 9, 2016, while the last batch will be organised on May 1, 2016.
