Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Constable Exam

sscThe Staff Selection Commission (SSC) successfully conducted the SSC Constable exam yesterday on October 5. The SSC Constable exam was conducted in two sessions across the country. Large number of aspirants had applied and appeared for the PST/PET and the qualified candidates appeared for the Constable GD main exam.

Applications were earlier invited from Indian citizens to fill up 62,390 vacancies in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Assam Rifles (AR) and Central Armed Police Force (CAPF).

There are basically 3 stages of the selection of the aspirants for constable exam which include Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET), written examination and medical examination.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an government of India organisation to recruit staff for various posts in the various ministries and departments of the Government of India and in subordinate offices.

The answer key for the constable exam will be released soon at the official website of the commission. The Staff Selection Commission has seven Regional Offices at Allahabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore and two Sub-Regional Offices at Raipur and Chandigarh.
