Global Business Contest (GBC) won by Indian Students

GBCA team of students from an Indian varsity has won an international business contest held in Poland, bringing proud to our Country.

Team Maverick Minds from the Sardar Patel Institute of Technology secured the second prize at the CIMA 2015 Global Business Challenge (GBC), a two-day event that brings students from across the world to compete in an international atmosphere.

Keshav Pasari, one of the student from Maverick Minds, was awarded as a ‘Future Business Leader’ at this global contest. An international panel of judges, which includes top executives of multinational companies, chose Pasari, who is doing post-graduation in IIM-T, for the award.

Pasari is one among the 14,000-odd students who participated in the GBC this year. Other competing countries included Bangladesh, China, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Australia, Ireland, Malaysia, Pakistan, Nepal, New Zealand, Philippines, Russia, Poland, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Zambia, South Africa United Kingdom and Middle East.

Debasish Biswas, Country Head of CIMA India, congratulated the Indian winners of the most coveted global competition. The Global Business Challenge (GBC) contest conducted by the CIMA, world’s largest management body, is an international business competition designed to showcase the best among the young business leaders of tomorrow. The global competition is organized in partnership with Barclays, who shares CIMA’s aim of developing and growing young talents over the world.
