JEE Advanced 2015 Results Announced

While IIT-Bombay, which organized the JEE Advanced 2015, released the results data on Wednesday, students can access their results on the official site from Thursday morning.

IIT-Bombay recorded the best performance in JEE Advanced this year among the seven zones, with 50% more students qualifying for the coveted IIT seats as compared with 2014. While IIT-Madras zone retained its second position, IIT-Delhi region went down to third. Thirty-four students from the zone achieved the top 100 rank, but only one made it to the top 10. The IIT-Madras zone, however, had five students in the elite group. Of the 1.17 lakh students who appeared for the test, 26,456 qualified for the IIT seats. Of the qualified candidates, about 11% are girls.

Satvat Jagwani from Satna bagged All-India Rank 1, with a score of 469 out of 504. Bharat Khandelwal (AIR-5) bagged the top position in the IIT-Bombay zone. With the addition of two new IITs (at Palakkad and Tirupati), around 10,000 seats are up for grabs this year. The results for JEE Advanced 2015 have been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their marks at the official website: jeeadv.iitb.ac.in.
