More Women admission in CAT

The total number of registrations for CAT this year is 194512.  3335 seats are available as on date. Number of women candidates in 56408 and the number of working professionals is 31,122. 128378 candidates are the freshers and 1,36,158 candidates are with engineering background. There was a decrease in registration and the ratio of women who registered is increased.  There was an increase in candidaters with work experience.  Indian Institute of Management Ranchi, Raipur, Calcutta and Trichy have given additional points for women.  IIM Lucknow given preference to candidates with work experience.
