More seats in Indian Institute of Managment

Indian Institute of Management added 115 seats this Academic year.  But, overall registration for the common Admission Test decreased. The number of registrations was 2.14 lacs in the year 2012 and it has come down to 1.94 lacs in this year. This is the lowest figure when taking the last 5 years into account.  In Tamil Nadu in 2012 13,121 candidates registered for admission and only 12348 registered this time.  The convenient of CAT 2013 Mr. Rahul Kapoor told that many professionals choose to acquire sufficient work experience before going in to MBA.  According to experts, CAT is affected because IIM graduates themselves are struggling to find jobs.
