Annamalai University Administration

An act is passed for Chidambaram Annamalai University in the name Annamalai University Act 2013.  Government appointed Administrator Shiv Das Meera a senior IAS officer, has formally assumed the powers and functions of vice chancellor of the university.

The registrar incharge N. Panchanathan will exercise the powers and exercise the functions of a regular registrar.

The Tamil Nadu Government has notified these appointments in the gazette, in exercise of the powers confessed by subsection 3 of section 1 of the Annamalai University Act 2013 (Tamil Nadu Act 20 of 2013) on September 25, 2013 as a date on which the said Act shall come into force.
