14 Arts and Science Colleges opened by Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu

In the last two years 22 arts and science colleges were opened and now the total number of Government colleges in Tamil Nadu is 62.  On Friday opened 12 arts and science colleges and 2 unive3rsity – constitute arts and science colleges in the state to support rural students.

The colleges were opened by Hon. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu by Video Conferencing from Chennai.

The colleges are

1)      Karambakudi                     - Pudhukottai

2)      Peravurani                          - Tanjore

3)      Kangeyan                            - Tirupur

4)      Kumarapalayam               - Namakkal

5)      Karimangalam                   - Dharmapuri

6)      Hosur                                    - Krishnagiri

7)      Uthiramerur                       - Kancheepuram

8)      Kovilpatti                             - Tuticorin

9)      Kadaladi

10)   Tiruvaduthirai

11)   Mudukulathur                   - Ramanathapuram

12)   Sivakasi                                                - Virudunagar

Two University constitute  Arts and Science Colleges are opened at Veppur in Perambalur and Tittakudi in Cuddallur.
