Accreditation to IIT

Indian Institute of Technology agreed to get themselves accreditation by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), which is the premier Accreditation body in India, But IITs have been given freedom to came out the review themselves and submit the report to NBA giving due regard to their good Academic star based.

At the same time,  IITs are in the process of rebuilding of making it to ‘as Ranking” of best institutions.  IIT’s decided to continue this year’s format JEE (Advanced) test without any change.

HRD Minister M.M. Pllam Raju send the decision of IITs are in accordance to the part of the Washington Ac cord on International agreement of 14 nations that reorganize engineering degree programs of each other.

India is the provisional member of Washington Accord.  The condition to be a part of this accord for a country is that it’s engineering degree should be accredited
