Post Graduate Engineering student change colleges

Madras High Court quoted an existing provision which prevented Engineering college students from changing colleges in mid course.

Justiced K.K. Sasidharan allowed a student who wanted transfer from a Coimbatore based Engineering college to one in Salem.  He studied that as to such their is only one technical university and there is only one set of syllabus applicable to all the colleges under Anna university.  So, there is no reason behind a decision to prohibit transfer of PG student from the institute to other institute within the State.
