Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister calls for effective implementation of all flagship programmes of the state

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has called for effective implementation of all flagship programmes of the state government besides tightening up the internal security apparatus in all the districts.
 
In his first ever video-conferencing with all deputy commissioners held yesterday evening, Tuki stressed on the target of creating one lakh job opportunities in the 12th Five Year plan while asserting that this year the target was to create at least 25000 employment avenues in both private and public sectors including self-employment.
 
He said that at least one person should be gainfully employed from each family and the onus was on the deputy commissioners to recommend the beneficiary, official sources informed here.
 
Informing of the Job Mela scheduled to be held at I G Park here on August 30 and 31 next, Tuki urged the DCs to mobilize unemployed youths in their respective districts to participate in it.
 
Calling on the district administrators to contribute in revenue collection from their respective ends, he said that districts performing better in this field would be suitably rewarded by the state govt.
 
Talking on the issue of land allotment, Tuki called for ensuring that land with state and central government departments be allotted to them with proper demarcation and compound wall.
 
He also urged speedy processing of land acquisition for important projects like highways, district roads and defence purposes in a time bound manner, sources said.
