Medical students of D.D. Medical college undergo fasting

Medical Council of India cancelled the recognition of DD Medical College.  About 70 students of 2011-12 batch are under trouble.  They are fighting with the government to continue their course.  They are on an indefinite hunger strike asking the government to take over the college.  If is reported that the parents also participating in the strike.  Some of the students paid Rs.25 lakhs  towards capitation fee and they also have paid Rs. 8 lakhs each for two years.

According to the students the Tamil Nadu MGR Medical University had issued hall tickets to them, examinations are conducted and the results are also published in the website. But the students were not permitted to write the supplementary examination.
