Madras Veterinary College and the Christian Medical College in Vellore will now have partners in the UK as part of the Knowledge Economy Partnerships (KEP) programme by the British Council.

The one-year partnership programme between the veterinary college and the Royal Veterinary College of the University of London will provide a number of online courses that will benefit veterinarians from both ends.

CMC Vellore will have a similar programme with the University of Edinburgh on an online distance learning programme in family medicine.

The KEP programme is part of internationalising higher education, which creates collaborative partnerships and provides analysis and advice on international higher education trends and opportunities, according to a release from the British Council.
