Premises of four dozen schools in Bihar's Bhagalpur district has been inundated with flood water disrupting classes of over 15,000 students, official sources said.

Four dozen primary and secondary school premises located in villages under Navgachhia, Ismailpur, Gopalpur, Nath Nagar, Sabaur and Kahalgaon blocks have been flooded with rain water disrupting classes of over 15,000 students, the sources said.
 
28 government schools have been flooded by water in Ismailpur block alone out of which three have been washed away, according to the Block Education Officer (BEO) Bhavesh Murmu.
 
A government school located in Laluchak diara in Kahalgaon block has also been washed away due to soil erosion, Kahalgaon Block Education Officer (BEO) Prabhunath Chaurasia said.
 
Arrangements were being made to shift flood-affected people to safer places and resume classes for the students, the sources added.
