 Medical students give out of Pondicherry

264 students were sponsored by Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAL) to 7 self financial Medical Colleges. Out of this 56 students opted out, the reason being very high fees. There include 42 seats in the 4 deemed universities and the rest 3 under Pondicherry University. Now out of 390 seats 73 seats are vacant.

The fee ranges from 3 lacs to 3.5 lacs for colleges under Pondicherry for university and 6.5 to 7.85 lacs for deemed universities.

There is a scheme called Perunthalaivar Kamarajar financ ial Assistance scheme to help the students under financial strain.
