TANUVAS to increase seats in food science

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (Tanuvas) would increase the number of B-Tech seats in the Institute of Food and Dairy Science at Koduvalli near Tiruvallur to meet the growing academic demand, said Dr G. Thulasi, dean, Food Science Faculty.

The Bachelors degree in food processing introduced by Tanuvas in 2006 has become a hit among the students and currently there are only 20 seats available in the institute. Soon the number of seats will be increased to cater to the demands of the students
