Banglore Varsity increases intake for PG courses

Bangalore: Bangalore University on Monday has decided to admit more students to post-graduation courses from September 22 for the academic year 2009-10.

According to the Bangalore University notification, the increase in intake will be applicable to regular seats for GM, SC, ST, Cat-I, Cat-IIa, Cat-IIB, Cat-IIIA, Cat IIIB categories.

There will be no increase in payment seats and also supernumerary categories. Eligibility criteria and fee structure already in play will apply to increased intake as well.

* Zoology: 50: 10: 60

* Home science (nutrition): 15:15: 30

* Computer science: 15:15: 30

* Botany: 35:5: 40

* Microbiology: 12:8:20

* Apparel technology and management: 25:5:30

* Chemistry: 48:12:60

* Biochemistry: 14:6:20

* Biotechnology: 12:8:20

* Molecular biology: 10:10:20

* Performing arts: 30:5 (drama): 35

* Women studies: 20:10:30

* Master of Law: 50:10:60
