Board allows Candidates who appeared for JEE (Main) 2013 to make corrections in their particulars

Candidates who appeared for JEE (Main) 2013 can send in requests/representations for change of their category and other corrections in their particulars i.e. candidate's name/mother's name/father's name, state code of eligibility, mobile number, e-mail ID, date of birth, gender, etc.

The board has decided to give a last chance to candidates who wish to change their category (Gen/OBC/SC/ST/PWD etc) and state code of eligibility. Candidates can make the corrections online at the JEE website i.e. www.jeemain.nic.in. from June 20, 2013 to June 28, 2013.

The corrections should be made carefully as these changes may affect their ranking of JEE (Main) 2013.

Other corrections such as candidate's name/mother's name/father's name, mobile number, e-mail ID, date of birth, gender, etc, will be updated by JEE (Main) office on the request from the candidates, either through mail or post, latest by June 28, 2013, after which no request will be accepted.

The change of category, sub-category will not affect the score/eligibility for JEE (Advanced ), which was earlier declared on May 7, 2013.
