Chola Temple - Under crisis - Why?

National Highways Authorities decided to demolish an old chola temple which was constructed by Rajendra Chola - Rajendra Chola conqured the Ganga and Kadaram.  The temple was located at Mananbadi village near Cholapuram between Kumbakonam and Anaikurri. The demolision decision is to wide the high way. Earlier the villages were called as Elaichikudi and Veeranarayanapuram.

Dr. Kudavayil M. Balasubramaniam a notable archealogist of Tanjore appealed the court against this demolish.
