Tamil Nadu +2 Result 2013 analysis

The results of Higher Secondary (XII Std) Examinations of Tamil Nadu which was published on 10-05-2013 create mixed emotions among the students.

The overall pass percent was 88.1% This shows a rise of 1.4% when compared to last year. Passing percentage of girls show an increase of 1.4% while that of boys is an increase of 1.5% candidates scoring 60% and above on aggregate falls from 68.38% to 65.69%.

It is years the number of students secured centum decreased. Number of centums in computer science almost doubled. It is appreciable to note that the disabled students performed well.

Total number of students appeared: 853,355

Total number students passed : 704,125

Percentage of increases : 1.4%

Pass percentage of Girls : 91%

Pass percentage will respect to Last Year : 1.4%

Pass percentage of Boys : 84.7%

Increases compared Last year & This year : 1.5%
