Education web portal being developed in Chhattisgarh to provide information on schools students and teachers

 Development of an education web portal is under way on war-footing in Chhattisgarh in order to ensure online availability of information regarding schools, students and teachers under school education department of state government.

All the students and teachers will be allotted IDs to access their information on the website which will remain valid even if any student changes school. School education department has issued orders in the context from Mantralaya ( Mahanadi Bhavan). Officials said that training programmes have also been chalked out. Alongside, a deadline of June 20 has been set to complete the entire process of data entry at all levels.

Department officials informed that the web-portal will host information related to students from class I to XII and all teachers teaching at primary up to higher secondary level.

A state-level training programme of first phase was organized on May 5, where district project coordinator ( Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan), assistant district project officer (state secondary education drive), programmer, assistant programmer (Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan) were present.

The next training session in the same phase will be held on May 8 at district-level where programmers, data-entry operators of block resource centres and cluster coordinators will be imparted training. In the second phase, training programmes will be organized between May 10 and June 10. Meanwhile, data entry of the primary information of schools at cluster, block and district-level will be done. From June 11 to June 15, the school-wise data entered at cluster, block and district level will be verified.
