RBSE asks to register FIR against 237 students

Jaipur: Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer today asked the Madhya Pradesh Open School Board, Bhopal to lodge FIR against 237 students, who had applied for secondary examination with forged RBSE marksheets.

The open school board had in last month sent RBSE's  243 class-X marksheets for verification, which were submitted by candidates who applied for class XII examination from the open board.

In the verification, RBSE found only six marksheets original and rest 237 forged, and informed the open board and other officials in this regard.

'The RBSE today asked the open board to register an FIR against the students, who on basis of forged marksheets applied for class XII examination,' an official spokesperson said.

'We are also trying to get details of the candidates to initiate action from our side,' he said, adding, 'further investigation into the matter is on.'
