The Kerala Government would extend financial aid for talented students in arts, who are unable to participate in the annual school youth festival due to paucity of funds, education Minister P K Abdu Rabb said.

Speaking at the District Panchayat’s integrated Educational programme here, he said there are talented students unable to attend the festival following lack of funds though they are fully qualified.

He said financial aid would be given to talented students from economically weaker sections to enable them prove their efficiency and compete successfully with students of affluent sections of society.

Rabb said a special fund would be mobilized for the purpose under the auspices of the Director of Public Instructions.

Children as young as two years old understand basic grammar rules when they first learn to speak and are not simply imitating adults, a new study has claimed.
