Commonwealth Parliamentary Association delegation visits Amity University

A Commonwealth Parliamentary Association delegation, led by Conservative MP Alun Cairns along with seven MPs from UK visited Amity University.

The UK MPs visit is meant to understand the challenges being faced by India, specially in the field of education.

They interacted with Amity students on the current issues that are concerning them regarding Indo-British relations.

Ashok K Chauhan, Founder President of Amity University proposed to launch Commonwealth Association in Amity University on the lines of Common Wealth Associations which are a regular feature of UK educational institutions and colleges.

The Association will facilitate regular exchange of ideas between the key stakeholders from UK and Amity University.
