MP Governor asks students to give priority to serve the nation after completing their education

Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav has called upon the engineering students to keep the country, conduct and morality in mind and give priority to serve the nation after completing their education.

Speaking at a function after distributing the 'Chancellor's Scholarship' to 213 under-graduate students of Rajiv Gandhi Praudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) for 2012-13 last evening, the Governor said he felt proud as the girl students were ahead of boys having secured 123 out of a total 213 scholarships.

The Chancellor's scholarship was mainly given to the meritorious students who were from below poverty line segment to help them continue their studies, varsity's Vice Chancellor Piyush Trivedi said.

An MoU was also signed on the occasion between the university and and Foundation for Excellence, USA to help the meritorious students with a share of fifty per cent each.
