Maharashtra Government to set up medical college in every district to strengthen medical infrastructure

In view of the urgent need to strengthen medical infrastructure, Maharashtra Government has decided to set up a medical college in every district.
   
Minister of State for Medical Education D P Sawant said here that "Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan has cleared the proposal of setting up medical colleges in every district....the colleges will be set up in a phased manner."
