Students protest against the state government for state-level pre-PG entrance examination

The candidates, who appeared for National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET), and the students of Mahatma Gandhi Medical (MGM) College have intensified their protest against the state government for announcement of state-level pre-PG entrance examination on Tuesday.

The medicos wore black ribbons on arms and started a signature campaign to seek support of MYH doctors.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh medical teachers' association also extended its support to the students. Association president Dr Poonam Mathur said, "We acknowledge the demand made by the medical students and validate their issues of allotting PG seats as per the centralized NEET rank list."

On Wednesday, medicos have planned a rally from Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital (MYH) to divisional commissioner office via Regal Square to submit memorandum.

Vyapam, the state professional examination conducting body has recently notified to conduct its own examination despite medical education being a subject of Centre.
