VIT has signed memorandum of understanding with three Universities in Australia

Vellore Institute of Technology as part of offering joint degree programmes in engineering streams, has inked memorandum of understanding with three Universities in Australia.

According to a VIT release, VIT Chancellor Dr G Viswanathan during his recent visit to Australia, has signed the agreement with Australian National University, Queensland University of Technology and Deakin University.
    
While the agreement with Australian National University offers opportunity for joint programes in engineering at bachelors and masters level, students opting for this programme can do two years at VIT and another two year programme in Australian National University, it said.
    
Students of post graduate streams would complete their first year of study in VIT and the second year in Australian National University.
 
VIT will offer joint programmes in B Tech in the areas of civil, mechanical, electrical, computer science on the agreement with Queensland University of Technology and Deakin University. On successful completion of the programme students would get joint degrees from QUT and VIT, it said.
