Minister praises private players in education sector for their contribution in the spread of education in the State

Minister for Industries and Commerce, S.S. Slathia Thursday eulogized the role of Private schools for their contribution in the spread of education in the State.

Speaking at a school function, Slathia said that children of the State have a vast potential which needs to be exploited in a big way. He said youth of the State have proved that, if their talent is channelized in a right direction, they can   revolutionize the world of   Science, Information and technology.

He said hundreds of the youth from J&K State have proved their mettle while working in European countries in different capacities.

Slathia asked the Private Schools to provide education to the students at affordable fee with a provision for free admission to a fixed quota of poor and orphaned children.

Slathia lauded the role of management of the Intellectual school for providing quality education to the student in both curricular and extracurricular activities.

Slathia was impressed to see the cultural programme presented by the tiny tots of the school. 

The Minister also distributed prizes among the best performers of the school.

Earlier, Slathia, accompanied by MLA Bimla Luthra, attended a congregation of Sani biradhari at Arnia- Bishnah organized by Dr. Kamal Arora and  Tara Chand Chairman of the Sani Bradhari.
