Prof Anuradha Mukhopadhyay appointed VC of Kazi Nazrul Islam University

Prof Anuradha Mukhopadhyay joined as the Vice-Chancellor of the newly-created Kazi Nazrul Islam University here.

This was informed by Churulia District Magistrate Omkar Singh Meena.

Sources said around 25 colleges of Asansol, Purulia and Birbhum will be delinked from Burdwan University, which currently has around 119 colleges under its fold, from the next academic session and tagged to the new one.
