SASTRA signs MoU with Deakin University

The Shanmugha Arts Science Technology and Research Academy (SASTRA) University at Thanjavur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Deakin University, Australia, for collaborative research and teaching.

The MoU was signed by S. Swaminathan, Dean – Sponsored Research and Director–Centre for Nanotechnology & Advanced Biomaterials (CeNTAB), SASTRA, and Prof. Peter Hogdson, Director of Research, Deakin University, recently.

The MoU provides scope for final-year B. Tech. and M. Tech. students to work on various research projects as part of their academic internship at the Institute of Technology Research and Innovation, a separate research-intensive group within Deakin University.

Select B. Tech. And M.Tech. students will undergo internship.

Scholarships will also be offered to students based on merit, field of study and the project that has been selected for internship.
