West Bengal Tele Academy project receives consent of the Governor

West Bengal will soon get a state-run Tele Academy for study and promotion of tele-films besides other related activities in the state.
 
Housing and Youth Affairs Minister Aroop Biswas said here today, "The West Bengal Tele Academy project has received the consent of the Governor M K Narayanan."
 
Details of the project, being undertaken by the state information and cultural affairs department, would soon be worked out and a site finalised, Biswas said.
 
A 15-member advisory committee, headed by him as chairman and Subhankar Banerjee as vice chairman, would give the project a final shape, he added.
