Man Singh Tomar Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya at Gwalior gets a new VC

Professor Swatantra Sharma was appointed Vice-Chancellor of Man Singh Tomar Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya at Gwalior.

The appointment was made by Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav in his capacity as the Chancellor of all universities in the state.

The appointment will be for four years from the date of assuming charge or attainment of 70 years of age by the VC, whichever is earlier, official sources said here.

Sharma is currently a Professor in the Department of Music and Demonstration Arts in the Allahabad University.
