Free spectacles and medicine distributed to 52 school children under a CSR programme

Union Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal distributed free eye glasses (spectacles) and medicines to 52 school children here under a CSR programme undertaken by a company under the Ministry of Water Resources.

Speaking on the occasion, Bansal said the WAPCOS Ltd in association with the Netra Jyoti Foundation Trust has undertaken the responsibility for eye care and conducting awareness programme in different schools in the state.

Under the programme, the school children are provided free eye check-up and spectacles by the trust.

The Union minister added that the WAPCOS provides consultation in India and across the world in various facets of management of water resources, power and infra structure development.
