Infrastructure deficiency affecting quality of education

West Bengal Governor M K Narayanan said here, lack of infrastructure in the country has affected the quality of education in the country.

"There is no Indian university among the top 200 universities in the world though the Indian students are brilliant," Narayanan said at the convocation of Kalyani University.
 
IIT, Mumbai which was ranked 187th in the world in 2010 has gone down to the 227th position this year.
 
DRDO scientist Tessy Thomas, who is one of the main scientists in the Agni-V missile project, was conferred D Sc at the convocation.
