Indian Industry body and ACCC sign MOU on skill development

India's industry body FICCI and Association of Canadian Community Colleges signed a MoU on skill development, aimed at capacity-building between colleges of the two countries,
 
James Knight, the President and CEO of the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC), signed the MOU on behalf of the 130 member-institutions across Canada.
 
The MOU will enable meaningful partnership arrangements in capacity-building to evolve between Canadian colleges, institutes and polytechnics and Indian community colleges.
 
This will facilitate knowledge transfer for sharing of best practices of running colleges, institutes and polytechnics in Canada with Indian stakeholders in creating skilled, trained and certified trainees who meet the needs of employers.
