VIT Partners with IBM to incorporate advanced IT related concepts into the existing B.Tech courses

Vellore Institute of Technology has partnered with IBM to incorporate advanced IT related concepts into the existing B.Tech courses offered at VIT.
 
This initiative will not only provide the technical knowhow, but also make the syllabi more tuned to real-world problems and solutions, thus ensuring graduates from VIT to be employment ready, a university release said here.
 
As part of the partnership, VIT and IBM will design and deliver a new set of courses for the students, which will imbibe deep theoretical knowledge coupled with broad-based industry alignment, interaction, talent discoverability as well as excellence in their professional practices, it said.
  
The range of courses being offered makes this a first-of-its kind partnership between IBM and VIT in South India, as this joint initiative will augment finishing school efforts of the industry by preparing them better for future employability, the release said.
