Astronomy lecture in Kerala from August

Kerala State Science and Technology Museum in association with the Amateur Astronomers Organisation (AASTRO), is to organise an astronomy lecture series for an year.
 
The first lecture of the series, 'social relevance of astronomy today,' would be delivered by former Kerala Sastra Sahitya Parishad chief M P Parameswaran tomorrow.
 
The remaining lectures will be on the first Thursday of every month. Sky-watching sessions, telescope making, sundial making and astronomy quizzes would be conducted as part of the programme, a press release here said.
