Urdu, Arbi, Pharsi Vishvidyala to be renamed after some eminent personality of these languages

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav said, Manyavar Kanshiramji Urdu ,Arbi, Pharsi Vishwavidyala would be renamed after an eminent personality of these languages.
 
"After due deliberations, the name of the Urdu, Arbi, Pharsi Vishvidyala would be renamed after some eminent personality of these languages", Yadav said releasing a book written by retired IAS officer Anis Ansari, who is also the vice chancellor of the University.
 
Earlier, the government had through a letter asked Ansari to suggest names of eminent personalities after whom the university could be renamed.
 
The previous BSP government had named the University after Bahujan Samaj Party leader Kanshi Ram.
  
The chief minister also stressed that Urdu language had contributed to the prosperity and development of the country since Independence.
