Construction of first women government medical college of Haryana completed

Construction work on the first women government medical college of Haryana has been completed and efforts are underway to start it from the coming academic session, a Congress MP said.
  
At an expense of Rs 350 crore, construction of the 400-bed women government medical college at Khanpur in Sonepat has been completed, Congress M P Deepender Singh Hooda said.
  
UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi had laid the foundation of this Medical College on March 1, 2009.
  
Hooda said Rs 100 crore would be spent in the second phase and a Nursing College would also be set up.
