TNPSC Gr IV exams on July 7, results within 40 days

Results of the Tami Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC)- Group IV exams to be conducted on July 7 would be released within 40 days after the exam, revealed, Natrajan, TNPSC Chairman.

All the passed candidates would receive appointment orders in 15 days through counselling. 

The TNPSC chairman held an elaborate discussion with all the district collectors and police officials at Kovai on June 21.

Later talking to media persons, he said, "totally, TNPSC Gr IV exam is to be conducted at 5,000 centres in 244 different places. About, 12,50,000 applications have come-in for 10,793 vacant posts. Entire proceedings of the exam would be video recorded.

Results would be out within 40 days after the exam and the passed candidates would get the appointed order after a counselling session, for which we have sought the assistance of Anna University. 

Announcement for Gr II exams has been released. Everyday, we receive around 5,000 online applications for 3,663 vacant posts. We expect about 5 Lakh applications. After this, announcement for 1,300 VAO posts would be made, for which we expect about 15 Lakh applications. Before September, main exams would be completed", he said.
