Meghalaya Governor lays foundation of RKM centre

Meghalaya Governor Ranjit Shekhar Mooshahary laid the foundation of an Employability and Entrepreneurship Training Centre at the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre here.
    
The occasion also marked the beginning of the 150th birth anniversary celebration of Swami Vivekananda combined with the platinum jubilee of Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong and 111th anniversary of Swami Vivekanandas visit to Shillong.
    
In 1993, the heritage site where Swami Vivekananda had delivered his last public lecture of his life was handed over by the Quinton Memorial Trust to Ramakrishna Mission and it was named Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre.
