JIPMER to hold CME programme on epithelial ovarian cancers

The Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER)  would be organising a one-day continuing medical education programme on 'Epithelial Ovarian Cancers'here.

Dr K S Reddy Head of Department of Radiotherapy in the RCC said in a release here on Friday that the CME programme was being held as part of observance of the International Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Day.

The programme was aimed at highlighting challenges faced in the diagnosis and treatment of ovarian cancers. A pamphlet on risk factors and screening options to educate on gynecologic cancers would be released on the occasion.
