65 B-Schools are likely to close down due to drop in profit. The management education, which attracted both who were interested in business and those who wanted to master the tools of management, grew rapidly with to keep up with with the demand. There are nearly 3900 management schools functioning across India with close to 3.5 lakh seats in offer which has overshot the demand in recent times.

As a result 65 business schools across India are planning to close with experts predicting more of them to close.Students applying to these colleges need to think twice as the curriculum is not in keeping with the time and there are few faculties. Further not many reputed companies visit these colleges for recruitment hence there is no job offer in hand for the students at the end of the course.

However there are still thousands of students who wish to join an IIM. Lakhs of them apply to take the Common Admission Test for 3000 seats in offer by the IIMs.
