Law Course to be launched by Central University of Tamilnadu

The central University of Tamilnadu has been holding discussions with National Law School, Bangalore to introduce a course in Law.

The Vice Chancellor of the University Mr. B.P.Sanjay in a press release today announced an integrated B.Sc, B.Ed course to be introduced soon by the University. Apart from this he also stated about a two year post graduate course on media to be started soon for which a state of the art studio would be set up.

There was also a proposal to introduce new PG courses on mental health and social sciences for which the University would conduct the entrance examination at Tiruvarur this year for admission into eight central universities in the country.

He further said that the University has received Rs. 200 crores so far and has made optimum use of the fund. The new campus of the University is coming up at Nagudi and Neelagudi village, five kilometers from Tiruvarur and hoped to move into the new campus by next year.

He also stated that the university is involved in teaching English and Mathematics to school students in the district in a cluster approach.
