Cold wave forces MCD to reschedule school timings

In the wake of the ongoing cold wave in the city, MCD today decided to re-schedule timings of its schools.
 
"The schools, in morning shift, will start from 9 AM and will go on up to 12.30 PM. While schools in second shift will open from 1 PM to 5 PM. The remaining general shift of schools will go on from 9 AM to 1 PM," Delhi Mayor Rajni Abbi said in a press release.
 
The new timings will be effective from tomorrow and the agency will reassess the situation on January 25, it said.
