Pune college to host seminar on Kashmir

The Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, with the UGC, has organised a three-day national seminar: 'Voices of Kashmir' from February 3 to 5. This seminar is the result of a research project carried out by the students and faculty on 'Confluence of religion in Kashmir'.

The main objective of the seminar is to create an understanding of cultural, traditional, and religious influences in Kashmir. The seminar also seeks to develop a platform for further research on Kashmir.

Panel of speakers include Dileep Padgaonkar, Sanjay Kak, Hamid Marazi, Zaffar Iffat Fatima, M K Raina, Pran Kishore, Sanjay Nahar, Babali Saraf and others. The seminar will also screen 'Jashn-e-Azadi', a documentary by Sanjay Kak. There will also be a screening of Iffat Fatima's documentary 'Where Have You Hidden My New Crescent Moon.'
