Human rights issues discussed at CRPF academy

Human rights issues being tackled by police and security forces in Naxal-affected areas were the main focus of a seminar held at the CRPF academy.

Senior serving and retired police officials from various state and paramilitary forces participated in the one-day seminar held at the CRPF training academy in Gurgaon's Kadarpur, a senior official said.
 
Human rights in counter-insurgency operations and various guidelines framed by the National Human Rights Commission in this regard were discussed in the seminar, he said.
