School timing changed to 9.30 am in Punjab

Punjab government has decided to change the morning timing of schools from 9:00 am to 9:30 am in all government-run senior secondary and primary schools in the wake of foggy conditions prevailing in northern region.
 
A spokesman of Punjab Education Department in a release said the morning time of the schools now would be 9.30 instead of 9.00 am.
 
He said that timing has been changed after the due approval of Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab.
