Karnataka to promote animation industry

The Karnataka government approved an animation, visual effects and comics policy to promote this fast-growing sector.
 
Briefing reporters after a Cabinet meeting, state's Higher Education Minister V S Acharya said the government would invest Rs 25 crore to create infrastructure facilities to promote the sector.
 
"The Cabinet has adopted the policy framework," he said.
